To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Jinshan Peasant Painting, we organized Jinshan Peasant Painting Fengjing Charity Night กค Shanghai 2007 on the cruise of "Princess Rose" on 26 January 2007. Various countries' consulate diplomats in Shanghai, cultural officers of Chinese local government, non-for-profit organizations, cultural associations and all the others who are interested in Jinshan Peasant paintings joined the gala.
Celebrating on a luxurious cruise with grand Bund-view, the guests enjoyed great food and drinks, amazing folk-custom performance, and more importantly, a charity auction.
Around twenty paintings from Jinshan Peasant Painting Village have been sold through auction and all proceeds were donated to Project Happiness of China Population Welfare Foundation bringing happiness and love to the poverty-stricken mothers.
